THE AIRFI ONE BUYING GUIDE
Start with
a good fit.
The best room upgrade is one you can plan with confidence. Before ordering a ceiling fan with a speaker and light, check your ceiling, clearances and installation.
Blade span
Overall height, flush mount

Measure the space around the blades.
WindGroove specifies at least 30 inches between each blade tip and the nearest wall or obstruction, and at least 7 feet between the blades and floor. Furniture, ceiling height and room layout all affect suitability; a room's square footage alone does not establish a safe fit.
Check the ceiling support.
AirFi One should be installed by a licensed electrician using a ceiling fan-rated outlet box. Ask your electrician to confirm that the existing box and mounting location are appropriate, and review the official manual together before purchase.
Bring these questions to your electrician.
- Can the existing fan-rated box and ceiling support this fixture?
- Are the wiring, wall switch and any dimmer compatible with the current manual?
- Is the proposed flat or sloped ceiling mounting method approved for this installation?
- Will measured blade-to-floor and blade-tip clearances meet the requirements?
- What installation work, labor and future service access should you budget for?
This page does not establish dimmer compatibility, slope limits or labor coverage. Confirm those details with WindGroove and your electrician before ordering.
Review the current installation manualPlan the experience you want.
A living room or bedroom refresh can bring music, lighting and air circulation into a single ceiling fixture. Bluetooth carries music from your phone; fan and lighting settings can be controlled independently. Decide where you want the sound and light, then confirm the physical installation.
Use the official installation instructions.
This guide is a buying checklist, not a substitute for installation instructions. Follow the current WindGroove manual and have the electrician test the fan, lighting and speaker after installation.
